What GAIN Is

A structured sprint for organizations building government adoption infrastructure.

GAIN Lab works with organizations that already have a delivery model and real government traction, but haven't yet built the operational pathway to scale, integrate, or fund that work through government systems. Over a structured sprint, we diagnose where your government engagement actually stands, deliver findings that hold up under scrutiny, and build the tools your team needs to move from pilot to institutionalised.

This is not generic capacity building. It is diagnostic, specific to your program and state, and built for organizations with defined delivery models and leadership ready to engage directly.

What Past Participants Have Said

GAIN is like a hands-on coach for your government partnerships. It helps you step back from day-to-day delivery, see your gaps clearly, and prioritize what matters across the short, medium, and long term.

Key Education Foundation (KEF)

GAIN helps organisations build a more rigorous understanding of how to design for government adoption, especially around ownership, systems, and financial integration.

Adhyayan Quality Education Foundation (AQEF)

It walks you through everything from activity mapping to budget alignment to resource structures, and it pushes you at every stage to shift from an organisation-held model to one the government can actually own and sustain.

Bhumi

If you're aiming for scale through public systems, I'd highly recommend the GAIN programme. It changes how you think about government adoption. Very practical mentoring that helped us move from ideas and instincts to a coherent strategy.

Application Questions

Instructions

  • Be Candid: There are no right or wrong answers. We want to understand your ground reality, how you think, and where you are on your journey. We value genuine clarity over polished answers.
  • AI Assistance: Feel free to use AI tools to help draft or articulate your responses, as long as the underlying insights and choices accurately reflect your core thinking.
  • Draft Locally First: We recommend answering the questions in a local document first, then pasting your finalized responses into this form when ready.
Context for Q1 and Q2

Organizations participating in GAIN are encouraged to focus on one flagship program/product and one geographical state, for the duration of the engagement. Learnings from this program are transferable across programs and states, but for the sprint itself, specificity matters more than breadth. Select the program and state where your need and capacity already exist.
